Rotation of ports of call may vary for congestion reasons at certain ports with or without prior notice. At the time of publishing, the ship scheduled to depart for the cruise portion of your vacation is the Celestyal Olympia, operated by Celestyal Cruises. Day 1 - Depart USA

Board your flight to Venice, Italy. 

Day 2 - Venice

Upon arrival at Venice airport transfer to your hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure to explore on your own.

Day 3 - Venice

Today enjoy your walking tour of Venice to the Golden Basilica of St. Mark and the Doge’s Palace decorated by big artists such as Titian and Tintoretto. Afterwards, view of the Bridge of Sighs and Piombi Prisons. The remainder of the day is free.

Day 4 - Venice - Florence

Morning transfer from Venice to Florence by first class rail. Check - in at your hotel and balance of the day is at leisure.

Day 5 - Florence

Enjoy a panoramic tour of Florence with highlights along the romantic Viale dei Colli up to Piazzale Michelangelo with its splendid views of the domes and red-tiled roofs of the city. The tour continues with a visit of the “Academia Delle Belle Arti” to admire one of the most famous works of art in the world, the “David of Michelangelo”. Afterwards, visit the Cathedral complex with Brunelleschi’s wonderful Cupola (dome), the Giotto’s Bell Tower, and the Baptistery with its exquisite golden doors. Balance of the day is free to explore local shops and boutiques

Day 6 - Florence - Rome

This morning transfer from Florence to Rome by first class rail. Check -in at your hotel and balance of the day is at leisure in Rome.

Day 7 - Rome

This morning enjoy your tour of the heart of Rome: Spanish Steps, Navona Square, People’s Square, and the Pantheon, the Italian Parliament and the fascinating narrow streets of ancient Rome. You will drive through Via Cavour, crossing Piazza della Repubblica with the Fountain of the Nayads before strolling through the historical center, where you can admire the Trevi Fountain, the Colonna of Marco Aurelio, Palazzo di Montecitorio, designed by Bernini, the Pantheon (visit inside), Palazzo Madama - seat of the senate, and Piazza Navona. Passing alongside Castel S. Angelo our coach will take you to St. Peter’s Basilica for a visit, where you can admire one of Michelangelo's magnificent works of art - "La Pietà". Your afternoon is free to for independent exploration.

Day 8 - Rome

Today is at leisure to discover Rome on your own or take advantage of an optional tour of the Vatican Museums, or an excursion to Pompeii and Capri.

Day 9 - Rome - Athens

Transfer to the airport in Rome for your flight to Athens. Upon arrival in Athens, you will be met by our representatives and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 10 - Athens/Piraeus (Cruise Embarkation) - Mykonos

Transfer to Piraeus this morning to board your cruise ship. Spend the afternoon enjoying the sun, sea breezes, pool, and shipboard facilities. This evening, arrive at the gorgeous island of Mykonos. Enjoy an independent stroll through Mykonos town with its labyrinth of winding alleyways and whitewashed buildings, basket-laden donkeys, cascading geraniums and upscale shops and cafés.

Day 11 - Cruising - Mykonos / Kusadasi / Patmos

Two ports of call today. Arrive early at the bustling port of Kusadasi in Turkey - where there is time to take an optional experience to Ephesus. Just ten kilometers from the port is the ancient city of Ephesus, where you'll find an archaeological site that ranks among the wonders of the world. Explore this fascinating town where history truly comes to life that includes the Great Theatre of Ephesus, which had a capacity of 25,000 people, and the Library of Celsus dating from 135 A.D.

Later this afternoon, return to your ship for lunch aboard as you sail toward Patmos, Greece. Disembark at Skala harbor, a lively place with whitewashed houses, flowered courtyards, tavernas, and shops. The Island of Patmos is famous in history as the place where St. John wrote the Book of Revelation. An optional tour takes you to the cave where St. John lived and the nearby Monastery, built on one of the island's highest points, housing priceless icons, and manuscripts in its Treasury. Return to the ship for dinner and overnight.

Day 12 - Cruising - Patmos / Rhodes / Heraklion, Crete

Today you'll visit Rhodes, the beautiful "Island of Roses". In the heart of the city of Rhodes is the largest inhabited medieval town in Europe, a fascinating web of Byzantine, Turkish and Latin ruins. Its mighty fortifications provide the finest surviving examples of defensive architecture of the time. Lindos, with its whitewashed houses clustered beneath a soaring castle-capped acropolis, is Rhodes' most picturesque village and most important Doric settlement because of its natural harbor and vantage point built 125 meters above sea level. Sail from Rhodes around dinnertime.

Day 13 - Cruising - Heraklion, Crete / Santorini

Arrive in Heraklion early this morning. An optional shore excursion will take you to see the ruins of Knossos, the ceremonial and political center of the Minoan civilization on Crete, just five kilometers from Heraklion city center. The palace at Knossos was an intricate collection of over 1000 interlocking rooms, used as a religious and administrative center, as well as for workshops for artisans and food processing. The ruins have largely been excavated and much of them colorfully painted and restored.

Return to the ship to continue sailing to Santorini. This striking island is a volcanic crater immersed in the sea. The island is famous for its breathtaking and rugged landscapes, whitewashed houses, open-air cafes and glittering boutiques which cling to steep cliffs, accessible by foot, cable car or mule. Return to the ship for a final evening at sea.

Day 14 - Cruising - Santorini / (Cruise Disembarkation) - Athens

Dock this morning in Athens and meet your local guide and start your walking tour of the Acropolis offers views of the Parthenon. During your morning sightseeing tour, including the Royal Palace, the Temple of Zeus, Hadrian's Arch and the Agora where Socrates taught. Marvel at the stadium built for the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. The rest of your day is free for you to explore or shop.

TRAVELER REGISTRATION: After you complete your booking, you'll receive an email with access to your online account to complete your registration for this package. You must complete the traveler registration within 24 hours of your booking or by your final payment due date, whichever is earlier. If we do not receive this promptly, your booking may be subject to additional fees and/or cancellation.

CONFIRMATION: After we receive your reservation and deposit we will confirm availability of all components and send you a confirmation email within 1–2 business days. If upon confirmation, any option or component you selected is no longer available, you may cancel your booking and receive a refund on your deposit, which is otherwise non-refundable.

NOTE: Once your package is confirmed, the package price is guaranteed unless changes are requested

NAME CHANGES: Due to TSA Secure Flight regulations and airline requirements, you must provide us the names of all travelers, including titles such as Jr. or Sr. and any multiple first, middle or last names, exactly as they appear on each passport. These are typically collected on our registration form. Any errors could prevent boarding of flights or entry to some countries and/or necessitate the purchase of new airfare. After you submit the registration form, any name changes (due to errors, marriage, or other reasons) should be reported us immediately, and are subject to a $50 per-change fee by Mainly Europe Vacations, in addition to any supplier fees 

FINAL PAYMENT: If any balance is due after making your booking, you must pay this balance at least 60 days prior to departure, or within 72 hours of your booking if you book after this date.  Late payments are subject to a $50 late payment fee. If your final payment is more than 15 days late, your reservation will be automatically canceled and your deposit will be forfeited.

To make your payment with your credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express) log into our secure portal and click on the make a payment tap. If you prefer, you may instead print our credit card authorization form (also included with your invoice), complete and sign it, and fax or mail it to us so that we receive it by the payment due date.

To make your payment by check (cashier's check or money order only for final payment), make it out to Mainly Europe Vacations for the amount indicated on your invoice and mail it to our office address (by overnight delivery, if necessary) so that we receive it by the payment due date.
